It seems like only yesterday I was back in the beautiful city of Atlanta. Oh wait, it was. Or at least is was only 2 1/2 weeks since I was home, but hallelujah it didn't come fast enough! Have I mentioned how much I love Georgia? In case you forgot here's a quick recap of some of my favorite things about the Peach State: canopies of trees everywhere (even on the highway), Southern class and hospitality, humidity, 65 degrees in the middle of December, thriving arts and culture, random hideaways in the middle of the city, access to mountains, lake, or beach only a couple hours drive away.
I originally pictured my last 2 weeks before my mission departure as being jam-packed with shopping, friends, roadtrips, breakfasts, bruncheons, luncheons, and dinners, adventuring around the cities, the works. That's usually how my time in the ATL is spent. This time was different, however. This time I took time for myself, something I haven't allowed myself to do in a long time. This time I allowed myself to be a part of me I can't be in Provo. This time I took time-off to just be with myself.
But, knowing me, there was plenty of partying and being with old friends. Plenty of reading good books and all over a bunch of joy. And a surprise call from my best friend serving his mission in Argentina, Elder Weston Goggins.
In an hour I will officially be a representative of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. While I'm away, Ash Fowler will be in charge of updating this sweet blog of mine. I love you all.
Peace and Blessings.
so proud of you love you!!!!! be safe and well
